Even after greater than a decade within the scene, The Chainsmokers are seemingly extra optimistic than ever with regards to the way forward for digital dance music.
In an interview with Grammy.com, the duo mirrored on their plans to carry out within the stratosphere in 2024, their most up-to-date album So Far So Good, and shared their impressions of right now’s dance music scene giant.
The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart particularly shared glowing remarks on the style’s present state.
“I have never seen this many individuals enthusiastic about dance music in fairly a while,” Taggart defined. “I am seeing so many extra underground techno DJs construct actually large followings that compete with extra EDM [acts] and their followings on Instagram [and such]. They [post] movies of them enjoying exhibits, and the engagement is tremendous excessive.”
