Reykjavik, Iceland-born music-making app Overtune has closed a USD $2 million seed spherical.
Overtune permits smartphone customers to rearrange beats, document vocals and share content material to their socials.
The startup says that its buyers embody Charles Huang, founding father of gaming franchise Guitar Hero, and former CEO and chairman of Sony Music UK Nick Gatfield.
Amongst the agency’s new buyers are media firm Whynow, based by Mick Jagger’s son Gabriel Jagger.
Overtune was based in 2020 by Sigurdur Arnason, Jason Dadi Gudjonsson and Petur Eggerz Petursson.
Overtune says that it ams to “democratize music creation” and payments itself as a solution to create unique music for social media content material on platforms akin to TikTok and Instagram.
