#poem#
Fearful eyes, like shattered glass
A trembling hand, that muffles her past
Covers her mouth, a defensive stance
A scared little girl, in a fragile dance
Her heart beats fast, her soul confined
A hidden truth, she dare not find
The world outside, a daunting test
She silences her voice, in a frighten age
But still she dreams, of breaking free
From chains of fear, and stand tall
To uncover her mouth, and let her voice
Rise up, and make a heartfelt choice.
