Adekunle Gold and Simi have welcomed their second child, with Simi sharing the news on Instagram alongside a series of maternity photos.
The baby, born on March 10, 2026, was announced on April 1 through a simple and heartfelt caption celebrating their growing family. However, the couple did not reveal the child’s name or gender.
The announcement also cleared up earlier rumours that they had welcomed twins in January, confirming instead that they had one child and offering only the birth date.
True to their low-key style, the pregnancy had been subtly revealed earlier through visuals in Adekunle Gold’s song My Love Is The Same from his Fuji album, rather than through a direct statement.
Following the news, several celebrities, including Temi Otedola, Ladipoe, Broda Shaggi, Kiekie, Mercy Aigbe, and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu sent congratulatory messages.
