After working together for over a year, cezanne And since I wear their items (almost) every day, I wanted to put together a rundown of the best (most versatile, most worn, highest quality) items I’ve had the pleasure of adding to my closet. I did. If you think about this list, you’ll see that each silhouette is unique to Cézanne. That means you won’t find similar ducks on sites like J.Crew or Madewell. There’s a reason silhouettes sell out over and over again. . Today, in no particular order, I’d like to introduce you to the wardrobe staples that I would buy from Cezanne if I were building a closet from scratch.
Here are some of my favorite wardrobe staples I received from Cezanne this year.
1. Betty Cardigan
$170
Made from merino wool, the Betty Cardigan is perfect for winter. Stylish crochet finishes along the collar, pockets and hem sleeves add texture to your outfit, making it perfect for any occasion, from work to weekend plans. This timeless piece can be paired with everything from jeans to skirts to create a variety of styles.
Notes on fit: This one is a little smaller. Please consider ordering a larger size.
2. Jack Trousers
$170
I’m apple-shaped and paper bag pants traditionally don’t suit me very well, so I’ve mostly avoided them. However, these are different. The fit of these pants is amazing, they look great and are super comfortable.
Notes on fit: Fits true to size. If you are less than 5 feet 7 inches tall, hemming may be required.
3. Emile cardigan
$170
The Emile cardigan is perfect. You can wear it with the buttons fastened in the front or back! The lightweight alpaca and wool blend is comfortable on chilly days, and the balloon sleeves give it a fun silhouette. Looks great with jeans and a T-shirt, or with a feminine skirt or blouse.
Notes on fit: It’s the perfect size. However, it has a slightly oversized fit, so if you are unsure about the size, please consider the size below.
4. Louise Jumper
$145
The Louise jumper is a wardrobe staple. This super kid mohair jumper has long sleeves, a round neck and a button placket at the bottom of the sleeves. Pair it with high-waisted jeans and boots for a classic look, or pair it with a miniskirt and heels for a more sophisticated look. I also love wearing this over my shoulder or turning it into a scarf. No matter what style you go with, this versatile piece will always make you look effortlessly chic.
Notes on fit: This sweater is made large. For a more fitted look, go down two sizes.
5. Brut Sexy
$125
These jeans captivate me. I wear the gray one all the time and get compliments at the grocery store. This is the perfect cut if you miss the tapered leg look of denim, but still want a modern vibe. I love pairing cream denim with crisp white or navy. Pair it with a tucked-in blouse or fitted T-shirt for an effortlessly elegant silhouette.
Notes on fit: Please size up for these jeans. I usually wear a denim size 25, but I’m wearing a 27 here. Also, each wash has a different fit, so be sure to consider the fit considerations listed below for each wash. This cream color is made from 99% organic cotton and 1% elastane and is larger than my gray pair which is 100% organic cotton.
6. Romy bag
$430
A classic, minimalist black bucket bag was high on my list this year. I love the style of The Row and Céline, but it’s just not in my budget. Romie is absolutely gorgeous, with an understated luxury that reminds me of what I love about The Row and Céline. The price is also a fraction of the bag. The Romie bag is the perfect accessory to carry all your essentials with ease and elevated style.
7. Tobias Jumper
$170
I can’t get enough of Cezanne’s knitwear. This dreamy, half-zip sweater is perfect for layering. This sweater is so good that I wear it everywhere: to the grocery store, to Pilates class, to going out to dinner. Perfect for running errands or having a casual lunch with friends.
Notes on fit: Tobias’ sweater is true to size. However, if you prefer a more fitted look, we recommend sizing down.
