BUA Group has forged a collaboration with CIMC ENRIC to construct a mini LNG project in Nigeria, aimed at producing 700 tons per day. This strategic initiative is set to bolster BUA Group’s capacity for generating power. The company expressed that this mini LNG endeavor will significantly enhance the availability of cleaner energy year-round, effectively supporting the group’s power requirements. Emphasizing the company’s reliance on gas as a crucial energy source across its extensive 1,000MW captive power plants, Rabiu highlighted the forthcoming mini LNG project’s role in enhancing year-round access to cleaner energy, thereby bolstering the group’s power requirements.
He said:
“We are excited about the prospects of this project and look forward to a fruitful collaboration with CIMC ENRIC.”
