Child Cudi has introduced a Star Trek collaboration launching in October. In keeping with a press launch, the “Boldly Be” marketing campaign will embody “Child Cudi’s distinctive lens on music with an unique tune impressed by Star Trek, an interactive gaming part, and a daring vogue collaboration,” plus further particulars to be introduced at a later date.
“I grew up watching Star Trek with my dad, who’s single handedly liable for turning me right into a fan,” stated Cudi within the PR. “An important factor to me is to be as genuine as attainable. Star Trek‘s mission has all the time been about having a hopeful future and after I was first approached about this challenge it was the right marriage of all of the issues I imagine in — being courageous and a hero by doing what’s proper and combating for freedom. I can’t wait to share my love of this unimaginable franchise with the world.”
The tune “Boldly Be” shouldn’t be out but, nevertheless it apparently takes inspiration from Star Trek‘s “ethos of IDIC (Infinite Variety in Infinite Combos) — the idea of Vulcan philosophy that the huge variables create reality, magnificence, and power.”
Look, I simply hope the Trekkies are nicer to Cudi on the annual conference than they had been to me the one time I attended in Vegas. However that’s one other story for one more time.
