Filip Petrushev is set to sign a three-year contract with Greek side Olympiakos. Petrushev was recently released by the Sacramento Kings. Sacramento acquired Petrushev from the Los Angeles Clippers, who acquired him from the Philadelphia 76ers as part of the James Harden deal.
The Gonzaga product’s deal in Greece reportedly includes an outing in the NBA. The contract also includes a termination clause after the 2024-25 season.
Petrushev was selected by the Sixers in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft. He appeared in one game with Philadelphia and two with Sacramento before being released.
The 6-foot-11 center will return to Europe with Olympiakos. Petrushev previously played for clubs in Serbia and Turkey during his three-year professional career.
