Although the skit wasn’t as humorous as Fallon intended and often required convincing viewers to participate, it speaks volumes about how popular DeVito is.
Despite his newfound fame, DeVito remains grounded, focusing solely on the Giants and taking it one day at a time.
“I think that’s cool. I don’t know. I wasn’t really thinking of anything. It’s kind of an outside story,” DeVito said this week.
“That’s good. I mean, I appreciate everyone’s support. Obviously, coming from a small town, there’s a lot going on in such a small area. But I appreciate everyone. I I’m just trying to be me. I’m going to show my personality and that’s it.”
A win against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday would make DeVito even more excited.
