Listing products on Softmation is free, but commission fees (usually between 5%–20% or more depending on the product category) and shipping cost contributions apply only when an item is successfully sold. All fees already include a 7.5% VAT. The main costs involved are product commissions, shipping expenses, and optional advertising such as cost-per-click (CPC).

Commission Fees: A percentage of the product’s selling price, which varies based on the product category.
Shipping/Logistics Fees: Charges for delivering products to customers, depending on whether you use Softmation Express or your own delivery method (drop-shipping).
VAT: A 7.5% Value Added Tax is applied to the commission fees.

Sponsored Products: An optional advertising service where you pay based on the number of clicks (CPC).

Example Calculation:
If your product sells for ₦5,000 and the commission rate is 6%, the commission will be ₦300. After adding 7.5% VAT, the total deduction becomes ₦322.50.

To begin, you can register as a seller on Softmation with 5000 naira only (refundable if not satisfied) and applicable fees will be deducted after a product has been successfully sold and delivered.
