Dangote Refinery Reduces Petrol Price to ₦1,075 Per Litre, Diesel Drops to ₦1,430

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has lowered the prices of petrol and diesel following a recent decline in global crude oil prices, a move that could ease pressure on fuel marketers and consumers across Nigeria.

According to the refinery’s latest price update released on March 10, 2026, the depot price for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, has been reduced by ₦100. The new gantry price is now ₦1,075 per litre, down from the previous ₦1,175 per litre.

For petrol supplied through coastal shipping, the price has been set at ₦1,050 per litre. This slight adjustment reflects additional costs associated with marine transportation.

Diesel prices have also been revised downward. The gantry price for Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), commonly referred to as diesel, is now ₦1,430 per litre, representing a ₦190 decrease from the earlier price of ₦1,620 per litre.

This marks the refinery’s first price reduction after a series of increases recorded in recent days.
