Manchester United boss Erik ten Heg says Anthony Martial and Rasmus Hojlund could both start in attack in future. The Dutchman has favoured Hojlund as his central striker since the Dane’s £72m arrival from Atalanta.
Martial only has one goal to his name so far this term, and that came in his last start against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup.
Erik ten Hag on Højlund and Martial: “They can play together because Anthony Martial is also available to play from the side.”

Erik ten Hag: “The atmosphere, at Old Trafford, is always special, the fans are incredible. We are with the fans, and they are with us. A very emotional evening expected tomorrow.”
Erik ten Hag on Sir Bobby Charlton: “He is in front of Old Trafford, with Denis Law and George Best. He’s always there with us, for every game.”
Ten Hag on Rasmus Højlund facing Copenhagen:
“He grew up at this club and he will be highly motivated. He will send that in the right direction with the right balance.”

Ten Hag:
“We’re building the routines and that spit moment will give him [Højlund] more time and to make better decisions for more goals, but the goals against Galatasaray were two brilliant goals. As well, also the one in Munich.”
Ten Hag on Rasmus Højlund:
“I think he’s a player who will always be in scoring positions in our team. I’m sure, I’m confident [he’ll score goals] and Marcus Rashford the same.”
